Flip's comment reminded me of another aspect of this bass which might interest the Club. Because I switched to Anniversary electronics mid-production, it became a challenge to fit everything in the electronics cavity and keep the additional jack on the side. I didn't want it on the top and "spoil" the view of the quilts. Mica explored several options to fit the 1/4" jack (which is the longer of the two) and came up with the solution below, which initially seemed strange but works great in practice (thanks again, Mica). I wanted both jacks because I often use a wireless when we play out, but the 5-pin works with my existing stereo setup for the Series II.

That 1/4 jack location actually makes a ton of sense. I know I end up taking my cord and running it back UP over my strap button with some slack built in. That location makes a lot of sense in that regard.
