While this is a Series II, Thomas set the precedent by posting pictures of younger brother in the Europa section. Since they've all ready been apart for a while, I couldn't bear keeping them broken up. What a simply outstanding bass you have there! I bet this bass is a killer for a four-string! Truthfully, I contacted Kevin to buy the four, but he did not want to let it go and offered me the five, instead. I love the five-string, so I am not insanely envious . . . I bet it looks and sounds outrageous in person. Quilted maple is definitely one of my favorite substances found on this planet. I KNOW you are enjoying this bass, as what's not to enjoy?! I keep wondering when and if the fretless one will show up. Oh, I should have posted this before, but I bought a polishing cloth for gold, as Mica suggested a while back, and it does seem to take the film off the bridge and other parts with some repetitive action. Pretty thick coat built up over the years, I guess. Just FYI. |

It has a very different sound than my others, which aren't series electronics. Thanks for the tip about the polishing cloth for gold, Thomas. I'll check into it. -Jon |

One correction: when at the factory this summer, Mica told me the knobs were actually made by her uncle. Jon |
