Wolfgang, It appears to be black in color but pictures can be deceiving. Asking differently... are the bridge, tailpiece and tuners all black (shiny black) in color? It certainly all looks original.

Yes,the tuners are black,but the bridge and tailpiece are not really black. Difficult to discribe !

Yeah, I think that's original. When Mesa Boogie was importing Alembic basses, they frequently ordered with black plating, especially on Koa basses.
