Hi Kristoff, welcome to the club! Here in Germany, you pay about 1100 Euro for a regular 4 string, so for a 6 string with such spectacular woods I´d guess it´s worth more than you paid for it. Hey, can we see the headstock, please? |

Yep, sounds like a bargain. It would probably go for $1500 in the US, and they are always more expensive in other countries. That top is awesome and would only add to the value. |

Thanks for the compliments everybody,I already thought it would be a bargain buying this bass.I found it coincidently,after I was in a car accident with my girlfriend and my Warwick got damaged while lying in the trunk.Then a friend of mine said he saw a secondhand Warwick on the internet so I went to see but my eye fell immediately on this masterpiece Alembic. I always liked Alembic,I'm a fan of Stanley Clarke so the next link is obviously Alembic.Here are some more pics. (Message edited by davehouck on May 23, 2005) |
