Dear All, beeing not in a WHO band anymore means not that I don't love the OX anymore.... I just found some old pictures of some of his Alembics you not have seen before. Sorry for the bad quality, they all are copied from old photo negatives. All photos are copyrighted by me and use of them is not allowed. I also didn`t know that John had that many Series basses back then. I did know of about two... Lay back and have fun watching.... The Spyder is his former No.1, the one that failed at Live Aid. Is the neck on the Spyder extra wide or is that just an optical illusion? |

Paul, here is that same bass as it is displayed currently in the HRC in Berlin. It is wide...... Oliver (Spyderman)

I saw that bass at the Hard Rock Park when it was open for 1 season and that neck was ginormous. Truly pieces of art. ~Taylor |

WOW these are cool Oliver! You don't happen to know the serial number of the second to the last pictured, with tight grained Zebra on the front and the lighter lam on the crown headstock? |
