It is my first Alembic and is the inspiration for my Alembic Forum user name. It features a 5A quilted maple top and 3A quilted maple back. Hippie body sandwich is maple and mahogany with purple heart accents. Headstock veneer is 5A quilted maple. Interesting bit of trivia - a photo of this instrument was used to illustrate the function of the signature controls in the FAQ section: Enjoy! Top is 5A quilted maple and back is 3A. I've been thinking about replacing the brass plates with either purple heart, mahogany or plain maple.
