This came with a preorder of the Grateful Dead Movie. Unfortunately, it's not completely in focus, but depth of field is a trade off when it comes to low light shooting. I finally got a film scanner, so here it is! Edwin |

Silly me, it's not the Godfather, but the Alembic that followed the Godfather (known as the Osage Orange bass). Similar electronics, though. If you want to find out about what happened to it, see http://p096.ezboard.com/fthedudepitfrm32.showMessageRange?topicID=420.topic&start=21&stop=40 Edwin PS Mica, can you change the title of the thread? |

Neat picture! I wasn't sure what you wanted the title of the thread changed to; hope that's ok, if not, let me know. Edwin; I got your email and changed the title as you suggested. I saw this shot in the movie last night; it's part of a pretty neat segment with Phil and his bass. I don't know why, but watching the movie, it seemed to me that the sound of Phil's bass and its place in the mix was a good as I've ever heard it. (Message edited by davehouck on March 24, 2005) |
