hi alan i'm relatively a newcomer to the club, compared to tom and sam, but that is the most extraordinary walnut i've ever seen! did you pick it out, or did you leave the selection to mica and company? in either case, congratulations and welcome to our little patch marc |

Hi Marc. I called the Bass Centre in London and they got hold of two examples from the distributors; 1 Walnut (the one I bought) and one in a great quilted maple. I have to say that as soon as I saw the Walnut bass I fell in love. They did such a great deal that the marriage was sealed.

That Walnut is beautiful. I'm still a confirmed Cocobolo man...but that Walnut is sweet! Is it a standard 34" long scale? |

Yep, it's 34" long scale with LED's which are cool (first time for me so I love switching them on). The bass looks so much better than captured on camara. I'm going to go for some outside shots at the weekend as the flash seems to make the colour look a little anaemic. |

If you note the serial number on the thread, I'll check and see if I have reference photos of your new bass that I can add to the thread. |
