Excellent, Peter. It that a koa top, or maybe walnut? Anyway, she looks fabulous and I bet she sounds amazing.

Congrats and thanks for sharing,

Thanks guy's, Mike the top is Koa and these pictures do not even come close to the reality. Examlpe, there are streaks of red orange that do not come through. The Zebrawood comes close but what you can't see is the small swirls.
Shes sounds great now once I dialed her in and the Mothership's help and patience. :-)

It's THE Zebrawood. That was a mighty log and the only almost Bird's-eye Zebrawood we've every seen. Greg Lake's guitar was made of this same wood, and we all get a thrill every time we see something made from it. I think the tally is up to about 8 instruments that we have confirmed now.

Juicy!

Nice looking Series! I am all for seeing pictures of all these other zebrawood instruments. I've always like the look of Entwistle's zebra Series, too!

OK I'm confused, is there a reason the pictures keep disappearing?

Pete, a software gremlin/bug does this, we've seen it quite a few times and I don't believe it's ever been discovered as to why. Sorry for the inconvenience. Art

ps: you may try and post them into a separate message for each (that did help me once) or if you'd like to send me the photos I'll gladly post them to the thread.

Perhaps it is that little ethereal Alchemist who likes to hang out in the club and run off with the .jpegs that he finds to be the most attractive . He later turns them into real instruments with his power of manifestation ! He does exactly as any good Alchemist would do !

Consider it to be a complement on his part _____

Thank you Art,
Hopefully our little Alchemist friend will already have what he wants and leave these be.
On a different light maybe he is creating a little sister for my girl. ;)
Peace,
Pete

Such beautiful instruments! I wonder if this would be considered 'birdseye' zebrawood? The serial number is very close to the others.j

Pete, I think it is very cool I sold you that persuader a few years ago, and now we both have a short scale series made from the same board! Enjoy!

Hey Nick,
The Persuader has moved on to more useful pastures. She did her job in persuading about Alembics and alas she is sold. Between this Series and a Distillate I'm grooving pretty well now.
Dave that’s a beautiful “Birdseye” you got there!
Maybe we need to start a Birdseye Zebrawood thread!
Peace
