hi aaron

that's a beautiful bass, well photographed! the flame figure on the koa is amazing

two questions. it looks like there might be a bit of flame figure also in the thick maple neck lams: does it look that way in person? and, is that a mahogany core with maple pinstripes?

regards

Wow Aaron. That flame Koa is absolutely gorgeous. Is that an LED switch behind the bass/ treble sweep?

Hey guys...Thanks for the compliments. You are both absolutely correct...there is a tiny bit of flame in the maple neck lams, it's a mahogany core with maple pins, and the switch is a LED switch. I just got back to S.F. after using it for the 1st time on stage in New York and DC...I'm completely blown away...it's everything I'd hoped for and more!

The Europa's are fantastic live instruments, very straightforward and easy controls to use and sound great.
Nice bass you have there.
Did you carry the bass onboard as hand luggage or did you have to put it in the hold?
