That's such a nice looking bass! I visited your forum earlier today. Lots of information there! |

Many happy returns. A top bass, but just could not afford to keep it without an amp!! Thanks to kiwi I have a nice mesa 400+ so we are both happy! Bravo |

You're going to be rearranging some furniture with that amp I think Yep the Elan 6 is sweet although I'm wondering whether its worth looking at some upgrades to the eq. to make it a little more flexible. Having said that, it might be worth considering for a SF-2 instead perhaps? Any suggestions? |

I found the 'lectrics more flexible than first meets the eye; there are a host of sounds hat can be acheived through careful use of the blend and q. otherwise I think an sf2 would be fun.. |

Don't know if you're still monitoring this or not, but I was wondering how you would describe the tone of that maple body (at least that's what it looks like) compared to mahogany or ash. |

Hi mate, It is quite dark sounding with a very detailed top end. There are some samples of it here, unmixed and straight into desk after a limiter: http://www.frozencloudmusic.com/~chrishiscocks/Fusion%20Clips/ One or two of those clips are my Vigier passion - you should be able to tell which! Cheers |
