31 years of playing bass, 25 of them with the same beloved 73 Precision. Yet there was always a desire for the pretty little Coco Bolo next door. I am sure my Precision will forgive me as she is still my first love.

Trolling these forums for years, searching and reading to learn the differences. Long, medium and short scale, filters, Q switch, Series I, II, Annivesary electronics, low pass filter, etc... I still know nearly nothing, but...

I am certain that a short or medium is where I will eventually go, a Brown Bass or an SC who knows. But for right now I have found the Alembic to start out with on my long strange trip.

Thanks to Longhorncat his one is shortly to find it's way to my place. Thanks Bill.

Hi Gary,

That is the prettiest bass I've ever owned.
I'm sure you'll love it.
My Vector has a very different look, but it sounds real close.

Well I have spent the last few hours playing the Persuader, wow does it just feel so good. I can really dial in a wide range of tone too but what I am loving is the neck and fingerboard are so comfortable!

Pretty, yea the Coco is lovely. My son walked in while I was playing it and said Wow, that's nice! Good taste I guess...
