Simon,

You are 30 miles from Cheshire but you have certainly got the grin!

Congratulations on the bass, very pretty.

Just remember to take it off before you step in the shower

congrats Simon. That's one bass I'd love to see in person. Maybe we can get Stevie Williams to reinstate the manchester Bass Day so we can all get together.

Thank you everybody. Now that my laptop is fixed I hope you don't mind a few more pics.AM061.jpg

As often happens, the camera adds at least one sleeping pet,in this case it's Barney.

These photos don't really capture the richness and depth of the walnut, the phone camera seems to wash that out a little. The first picture captures it better.Tonight will be her maiden voyage through the 'big rig'.I can't wait.

Last night was my beautiful bass's first outing and I was floored by the sound.Deep rich lows, wonderful articulate midrange and crystal detail in the high end,and experimenting with various filter settings gave me all the tones I could ever want.Throughout all those amazing sounds there was 'that' Alembic sound ever present. The band loved it,several of the audience members came over to ask me about it and take pictures and I'm still on a high this morning.Simply magnificent.
