Hello everybody,

I wanted to post pics of my basses for eons now, but did not yet manage. But now... tatahh !

I purchased this baby, my first Alembic, at a big German dealer, Station-Music, almost exactly one year ago. I just love the woods and the perfect build of the bass. I don't think it has sung for more than twohundred hours yet, it's in dead-mint condition. And I just tear it off the wall once in a week to "rehearse" in the living-room.

That's beautiful too. I like the figuring on the top wood. I guess the body is maple?

Thank you, Rich,

I am quite sure, yes. Only the top laminate is not, but I am no wood expert, I don't know what it is, but it's gorgeous. I fell in love the second I saw the Essence. Sure there is a build record available at Alembic, I did not get it when I bought it second-hand. Nor did I get the OHSC. I would be glad if Mica or Val could look up the details whenever they feel comfortable.

Tulipwood, if memory serves me right.
