I've been playing for 4 hrs. Forgot to eat. Whew, feel better now. This tone is so clear and defined! I'm so pleased. I went out on a limb here and bought this one on ebay. Never played one before, but I've always loved the sound. I now know the bassist from the old band "Pleasure" used an Alembic. I copped that tone straight up. I'm going to take it in tomorrow for a look from those pros in Santa Rosie. See if she needs anything. One happy bassist. the Bruski
