Here are some shots of my newly arrived Further (April 2006)! All that I can really say is - its gorgeous, it sounds phenomenal, and I love it. I also think it has the finest neck I've ever played.

Justin

I especially like the peghead veneer. Somehow the standard ebony winds up looking too shiny, almost plastic-like, IMHO. The matching burl peghead really sets this one apart. I just love this guitar - undoubtedly my favorite Further (at least until mine is finished! LOL). By the way, does it have LEDs?

Hi guys and gals - glad you all like it as much as I do!

Bill - nope, no LEDs. I felt that these instruments have a lot of "stuff" going on in general, and I didn't want "too much" on it. I even toyed with the idea of dropping the fingerboard inlays (aside from an oval on the 12th) but I'll leave that for the next one... :-)

The only thing I would have changed would have been the continuous wood plates on the back (the back of the body and the headstock are also burl maple), but that doesn't really bother me.

Hello gang - it's been a while since I've hung out around this website, but recently I've been practicing my photography skills (what little exists anyhoo), so I decided to take a few photos of my Further. The guitars in the background are my Lowden F35C and the Strat I bought in high school (!), and my amp is a 1st gen Mesa Boogie Lonestar. Note intentional blurriness, though! ;)

Hope you enjoy!

Justin

Sorry for all the edits - I can't seem to get the photo uploaded (first attempt it was too large, I think, so I resized it down to around 130KB but it still doesn't appear for me). D'oh.

Wait, is that natural wood? That thing looks killer, like a grapefruit on fire.
