Not a great view but some pretty good sounds. I think this is Alembic #1 but not completly sure. So I checked the Smothers Brothers episode archive and it would appear that this film clip was taped on November 1, 1968. So I'm guessing the modifications must have been done pretty close to that time. Unfortunately there are no close ups of the bass, but lots of nice shots of Grace. Nice video! Amazing what a little resolution will do. Pretty obvious this wasn't an Alembic but when I first viewed the video it was as if they were playing in a poorly lit studio and all you could see was outlines. My bad....doh! You are right Dave nice shots of Grace!!
