Hi everybody, Here is an EVH-4 for sale. Build in 1991. The guy took a 5-string. It is in very good condition. Sorry for the bas quality picture. The bass is used, but no scratches and such. At Bass Connection we ship with UPS, even to the moon... Check it out at www.bassconnection.nl |

It has a maple core and walnut top. 32" scale. Electronics are as on a Series I, but with an 9v battery. Each pick up has its own volume, tone control and 6/12Db Q-switch. Also an on/off switch is provided. The power can be turned off, so you can leave cable in without 'using' the battery. It is a very "punchy" bass. |

Still haven't found time to take a trip to Hilversum. Maybe next weekend, should be checking out the basses Edwin sells someday soon. The money remains a problem, however, and my lovely smile won't buy me an Alembic too, I guess ;-) |

Hoi Joram, moet je zeker doen! Edwin is a wonderful guy, very friendly and informative, but indeed even there a lovely smile won't buy you an Alembic. I myself was lucky enough to be able to purchase the EvH 4-string pictured and mentioned in the above posts, but there's still some beautiful Alembic stock to be admired at Edwin's store! |

It is always the same ...Edwin always goes for the woman I like! And because he's thwe most cool and flashy bassplayer of us two ... You know ...I just showed him the pictures of DRIVE with IRIS singing and ...rats ...he got the hots!!! And he's right: I know her BECAUSE I play bass in the band. I asked her to sing with us after I Met her in a Restaurant in TIenen. I've heard her singing with another band that just stopped so I asked her if she would be interested ...and she said "yes" (to the singing of course). She IS a fantastic woman and ...a GREAT singer!!!! Paul TBO

The Fish is only for wet jobs. Yes, hardware is chrome plated. I still have 'strange' feelings playing a 5-string. Sometimes it feels like 'cheating'...... Bass regards, Edwin. |
