I bought this bass new from Washington Music Center. It's a 2000 Orion 4 string with the coolest walnut top and the best sound and playability.

Hi Joe, is that a flame walnut top on your Orion?
It looks like a beautiful grain happening... post a closer picture or two if you have them.

Paul, it's very difficult to describe. It's flamed but the grain would be very interesting without it as well. Pierreyves, I'm not quite sure what you are asking.

I have been playing 4 or 5 years. My first bass was a mexican P bass that I used until I got this.
