Hello all! I finally get a chance to post a picture. Needs a little TLC and polish. I plan to gig a few more times to feel out what's needed. So far a little noise, 4way switch and some spot unprotected wood. The help desk pointed me in the right direction with some options. As soon as I can get it doctored up I'm sure it'll go another 23 years easy. I'm the second owner and proud of it. This bass has been played, has plenty of life in it and stands as another testament to the craftsmanship and quality of Alembic!! Thanks for listening....NLP

Yeah! That looks great. I'm just realizing how much I like the Spoiler shape. |

Dave I had to check out the link to your band Montford Park..Awesome sound, nice rig. Thanks for the compliment. Harry .. I should have put my 72 Azure Ric along side of the spoiler and we could have said we related. Thanks for the compliment. I love the balance as much as the sound. It might be me but the maple top brings out a nice tone even acoustically. I've had long scales but I'm much more comfortable at medium size. For being as "basic" as Alembic gets, what a sound!!wow! Thanks again.. NLP |
