I've got a couple of other pictures of this bass in the serial number thread. Here it is after some polish, new knobs, strings, screws, and a new Alembic case:
The serial number is 84-3169. I want to thank Jason from Alembic for all his help with the Alembic supplies I needed. He even included written instructions for changing the bridge screws! Terrific service. Here's a picture of me getting some advice in setting the Series II controls from The Master!
What a nice guy Jimmy Johnson is! I got to talk with him after an Allan Holdsworth concert the other night. He's the reason I wanted to play bass and eventually get an Alembic. Pat |
