This is the California Special I got on Ebay the other day. Great guitar but appears to have a crack at headstock! Anybody know how to evaluate the seriousness of this? I can send it back for refund if I move quickly. |

Man, that bites. I'm no expert. I'd say take it to a local luthier for a 'best guess' if you have time. Nice looking guitar. How does she play and sound? |

Where is the crack and how bad is it.Maybe a local repair shop could fix or you may have to return it to the mother ship.In either case you will have only a fraction of the cost of a new one,and they ain't gittin cheaper. Chuck |

Sounds great, plays great, looks like the pictures. Its been played A LOT, but seems okay other than the crack. I got it at a good price with the intention of using it as a banger (an alembic banger, don't hear that much) so my goal is to make it work |
