I replaced the black knobs with brass ones. The light pickups, brass knobs and amber look to the maple combine for an exotic look. Your bass has a Vector style body. I don't know what year they were introduced, but they went by the name "Fender-style" as well (for obvious reasons - in comparison to other Alembic styles.). There have been several threads which discussed the Vector body. I've seen Vector/Spoilers (I owned one - see http://alembic.com/club/messages/411/5426.html?1059921530 if interested), a couple Persuaders and even a Vector S2.
