My new used Essence 5 string fretless

Drove all the way to Los Angeles from NM to get it from a member, midmoto. Some of the story is here. midmoto is great to trade with btw, and very gracious for giving this one up. More pics if you want 'em. When I saw this thing, I nearly dropped my jaw. I've been stunned on how it sounds too. When I met my wife, she was at school in Las Vegas (NM Highlands). I did the drive from Orange County to NM quite a few times. Mind numbing isn't it? Is that a burl maple top? I've switched to flats, but the fretboard is so thick that I could sand it a bunch of times.
