Steve,
That looks great!
Do you also have LED's on the top edge of the fingerboard? If so, can you turn them on independent of the front LED's? I opted for FretFx on my Europa which was a minimally invasive procedure that cost me less than $80 USD. Are Simms big bucks? They look like a million!

Thanks for the comments guys, I was begining to think no-one was interested in me!
The facing wood is buck-eye burl with purple heart & maple pin striping on a mahogany back.
The LEDs are opperated from a single switch with top & side illumination, when switched off, i still have front & side markers, they cost an additional £500 (@$1,000).
The only down side to the Simms LED system is that it is all powered from the circuit battery,
so one 9v battery is running the tone circuit & LEDs, which makes for a more regular battery change of about about every 3rd gig, if i have the lights on for the 2nd &/or 3rd set (but that is when posing at function/dinner dances!).
It's my favourite bass in my collection, is used on a weekly basis, i've had it from new for the last 5 years & we've put some miles on the clock, up & down the U.K.
Steve

That really is a beauty Steve. I'm also a big fan of the Rogue. All my custom Alembics are Rogues. Thay have that sleek predatory look. I'm sure that with that amazing top and the LEDs, it draws ALOT of attention.
Do you have any close-up shots that you can post?

Buckeye Burl is such a strange wood. Mysterious and beautiful. I don't know much about it, but I just love staring into it. I have a Buckeye Burl top Essence that I can honestly say I see something new each time I look at.

That's so cool the way the burl radiates from the center of the instrument. Way to go artisans at Alembic!

Beatifull exploding figuring you have on these buckeye burl top, Steve!

What is this 4th switch? LEDs On/Off?

Please tell me where did you found a hardshell case to your Rogue? Because all I could find never perfectly fitted mine...

Hi Mario,
Yes the fourth switch is for LEDs on/off, the case came with the bass when i purchased it from the Bass centre in london but as Dave states you can order an exact fit case for your rogue from Alembic.
I'm suprised your bass didn't come with one.

It is second hand Steve... In fact it has a case, but it is clearly not made for the Rogue (the bass keeps swinging a little bit inside of it).

I've never found where to order cases in Alembic's Site, thank you both for the tip.
