I never thought I would enjoy playing a short scale bass. I bought it because I thought it was unusual and looked cool. Hmmm...that's how I met my wife too. Just guessing of course - it could very well be black. I've considered a sea green / blue refinish of Blondie, my Series I shortscale, but decided not to because the aged varnish over maple looks great. These pictures made me think again, but I guess I'd better stick to my decision...
