I love this thing. I never thought I would enjoy playing a short scale bass. I bought it because I thought it was unusual and looked cool. Hmmm...that's how I met my wife too.

Nice, pretty amazing looking really and goes well with the room! I am guessing it is a maple top, the color and the flame work well together enjoy her!

The black sets off the green very nicely on the back!

Dave, I suspect it's actually Dark green due to the back being mahogany i.e. harder to get a light green finish on then the maple front. Just guessing of course - it could very well be black.

Graeme; you may be right. I've enlarged the picture several times now and still can't tell. Regardless, the effect is very nice!

Very cool colour! I've considered a sea green / blue refinish of Blondie, my Series I shortscale, but decided not to because the aged varnish over maple looks great. These pictures made me think again, but I guess I'd better stick to my decision... I think! ;-)
