Hi, I'm new to this club, so first of all I will introduce myself. My name is Antonio and I live in Malaga, the capital of the Sun Coast in Spain. I just bought my first Alembic: A '93 Flame Maple Epic. I had to travel from Malaga to New York to get it but it was definitely worth it. It took me 15 years to buy my first one, but you bet that the second one will not take so much! Cheers, Antonio.

Hi, Antonio, welcome to the club ! a very nice Epic you have there, I'm glad it made the travel over the pond safe and sound. I also purchased my last Alembic in the US and met some very cool guys there. Play her in good health, greetings to sunny Malaga from rainy Germany Christian |

Hi all, Thanks for all your comments. In Spain it is quite hard to find Alembics for a reasonable price. I just was able to find another one (with bubinga top) but was three times the price of this one. Of course, I took the opportunity to visit the city (which I love) and do some other shopping now that the Euro is high ;-) Thanks again and enjoy, Antonio. |

Antonio, Welcome to the club and congrats on your maple Epic. I have one just like it and a Bubinga 5 string. They are great instruments and I know you will like it. Rich |

Saludos, Antonio!. Ain't itcurious? I have my family in Málaga (two of my cousins are also musicians, maybe you even know them!) and I've just had my first Alembic after being lusting for one for almost 20 years. Guess what? An Epic 5! So I share your joy completely (Although I didn't had to travel to NYC to get mine, it was quite close to home). I totally relate with your feeling. Play it in good health, in good company and with a nice glass of "Quitapenas". Cheers! Juan Carlos De La Cruz. |

Thanks Juan Carlos! Unfortunately, I will soon have to part with the Epic for economic reasons but I hope we can meet sometime, maybe in one of my (or your) gigs. Antonio. PS. Sorry for the looooong delay. I had not checked this for a while |
