A friend of mine bought a 2nd hand Orion 5 some time ago. God, do I envy him! Anyway, knowing my severe case of alembicitis, he offered to lend me this beauty while he's going away on vacation.

By Jove, what a machine. I'm absolutely in love. I took it to a rehearsal and played one gig on it and the sound got rave revievs! I love the way it sounds, the way it looks, the way it feels in my hands... Just awesome.

Of course, I took some pictures :-)

I love it. I think the time has come for a bank loan... I only hope I'll get one.

For the time being, I know this will be the bass I will use for recording my band's debut album :-D It's good to have helpful friends with Alembics when you can't afford your own, isn't it?

Better than not using one at all. Keep the faith, Jarek, you will one day have your own!

I eventually used an Essence 5 and an Epic 4 :-)
