Thanks friends!
Bought it from Glenn at Austinbasstraders a while ago and it is indeed that bass you see on his site. I found a picture here in the factory to customer 2003 so it has been custom made for maybe somebody still here at the club? The bass was untouched when I received it. That really surprised me being a 03MK12959 USA
It is heavy but still with all my endorsements I keep coming back to Alembics. Simply because of brilliant construction, sound and stability.

The cocobolo on that bass is truly outstanding. You need to get some pics of the back as well, with those continuous wood backplates.

I recall this bass being listed on E-bay a couple of different times in '05/'06. If it had been medium scale & had side LEDs...

Congratulations!

Hi Jan Olof!
Indeed a very long time ago...How are you?
I am all well. Has been a lot of travelling and playing. Did some stuff with Billy Sheehan and my band X3. When are we going to do a project together? Bring out all the Alembics we own...!!!
Speak soon, play well and stay low! Joeri

Very pretty bass. Looks as if you have some nice places to play it, too.
