A totally unrelated search thre up this intriguing ZZ Top photo on wikipedia..
Can anyone shed any further light? The pic is too dark to make out any details other than the logo. I'd be interested to know what songs this bass was used on. Graeme |

Knowing Z.Z. Top a bit, I would guess this isn't a "normal looking" bass. Probably something shaped like a Lightning or something, or even a Tele style Alembic...? This is making me very curious!! |

I do remember Dusty playing a Thunderbird style bass too. An of course the "furry monster" bass. LOL I would imagine you're probably correct though Greg. Maybe Mica can shed a little light on this photo. OO |
