I'm new to the Club and to Alembic basses. When I recently registered, I was hoping to find a Spoiler or Distillate in decent shape as my first 'bic, but I couldn't imagine to be so lucky to find this, so fast and in fantastic conditions ! Many thanks to Alan ( previous owner, great guy ) and Dave H. for his precious advices ! Note the purple heart.....not on the bass....on the floor ! More stability during parties (Message edited by enzo on April 21, 2009) |

Thank you Greg, yes it's a medium scale and I love it ! It's the first time I try a medium scale bass and I have to say... no more 34 for me ! I will actually look into short scales if I have the opportunity. I was also a bit concerned about string spacing ( I like slap ) and I got easily used to it. I'm really pleased. |

Enzo, I know what you mean... The first time I tried a short scale bass, every other bass I had, retired. They just can't compete with the speed and reach that I find on a short scale. Do try one, if you have the chance... I bet that, if you do, you will probably be adding a new Alembic to your collection! Greg |

You can't live with no kidney ! I already sold one to buy my Jaydee Series 1 ! Wait a second, selling the wife would take care of 2 problem at once ! |

Hum... Wife selling... Why didn't I think of that...? In Egypt, you can exchange her for a Camel. I bet it will be easier to sell than your wife... Greg |
