I know that this one's been posted on in the club before, but I'm the current owner and I love this bass! My only complaint is that the neck is huge/almost too long for me! That's the only reason why I don't play it more than my Fender J basses.

1993 Custom 4 string long scale bass (93C7639)
Triple Omega Body shape JPJ style (soft points)
"Mutant" maple top (meaning it's got a bit of everything)
mahogany body
ebony fretboard
Anniversary electronics
walnut/maple/walnut pinstripes
maple/purple heart neck
Brass hardware
Alembic Gold Tuners
pearloid oval inlays
Gold plated logo
Completed 03/02/93

Medium weight, huge tone!

It's not for sale...unless the right Series bass comes along.

I love that maple. It almost looks like fractures in tempered glass.

What a beautiful and unique piece of art! I've never seen a top like that, or even close to it.
Congratulations

Hey Steve, be careful what you say about her. I'm making her an honest lady. I'd love to get another Exploiter to keep her company.

Thanks for all the info a while back.

"My only complaint is that the neck is huge/almost too long for me!"

That's from the body shape and strap pin placement. The neck winds up being pushed away from your body more than it usually is. Which makes the reach to 1st position a bit further. It took some getting used to when I first started playing mine.

I really like the top wood on this particular one. Nice.

What a stunning top! And the Anniversary electronics are the next best thing to a Series, IMHO.

Ken, try lowering the strap a bit and resting the bass more on your right hip. I'm pretty short and it works well for me.
