Hi Sam, Nice, I've always loved the Epic shape. I kept an eye on the auction, glad you decided to share your good fortune with the rest of us: the few, the proud, the understandably addicted . Welcome to the club. Mike |

Thanks, I see you're a Texan. The majority of my family is in the D/FW area. Mostly Grand Prairie & Arlington. I'm about the only one no longer there. Good to meet you Sam |

Way cool.I have a Zebrawood Epic myself that I bought new in 94'.Your Epic seems to be in top notch shape as mine has quite a few battle scars and a real dark patch where my wrist lays over the body. The finish is coming off too but I don't have the heart to refinish it.I would like to have Alembic just shoot a high gloss polyester finish over the top of the old just to preserve the worn look and have a new finish at the same time. We've been through a lot over the past nine years since it was the only bass I played all that time. And it's still going strong.I hope you get as much use and enjoyment out of yours as I still do with mine. |

Those are some good pictures of a great looking bass. NO, I'm not just saying that because I own an epic also Now that you have it, do your best to never let it go. PS;Mike I really enjoyed your closing statement:"the few, the proud, the understandably addicted". Stirring words and yet so true! |

The bass is beautiful but the tone is just amazing! This baby's not going anywhere. She's stuck with me. |

Oh, so here is your baby. I love the way zebrawood looks on the Epics. Alembic really knows how to lay a top down. I love the angles, really makes the bass flow. Get ready, you may never sell this bass but I bet this won't be the last. |

I hope you're right about that. After poking around here for awhile I've been drooling over all these Series 2 & MKs. To bad my gear budget's blown for the next couple of years!
