Mica, I am now the proud owner of this fine instrument, purchased last Dec. from Absolute Music in Fairborn(Dayton) Ohio. In reality, the picture does not do it true justice. The Bass has a much more reddish hue, very striking. And it plays and sounds as good as it looks. It plays like BUTTAH! When I first bought it, I was a little concerned it may have been limited in tone by the single pickup, but I have found that, with minor tweaks of the Treble or Bass knobs, it has a wonderful range of tonal qualities. It Sings, it Growls, it Thumps, it ROARS! I have found myself using it more and more. Kudos to Alembic for making such a wonderful instrument, and I am thankful I was fortunate enough to acquire it!! | ||
