Hi Ken Absolutely fantastic!!! That is one fabulous looking bass. Seems strange seeing it finished after our numerous discussions! Utterly beautiful though. And as for the inlays, well I said nobody does 'em like Alembic..... All the best Shaun |

Truely, no one anywhere on earth does as fine a job with Buckeye Burl as the good people at Alembic. I have seen several other makes over the years, and most don't come even close. From one Buckeye owner to another, congratulations on a gorgeous guitar! |

I think I really like buckeye burl. Wow. What are the tonal characteristics with the buckeye. Now I think I want a Rogue with buckeye burl. |

Ron, With a neck through bass, the top has little effect on the tonal characteristics of the bass. I would describe the sound as fairly balanced: Bright, but not brittle with an underlying growl. This bass does not want to be put down though, so I may not be able to respond too often. :-) Ken (TEO) |

That is a very unique looking instrument, one of the most unique I have seen and I am sure it sounds incredible. I am now very interested in buckeye burle for my future Rogue. |

Hey Ken - can you post up a few more pictures? Especially of the front of the bass's body. It really looks cool from the two shown. Stephen |

I never thought of buckeye wood as an instrument wood. But, I've carried quite a few buckeyes around for luck. That is so cool looking! And the chrome hardware really accents it well. Stephen |
