Bought it a coupla days ago from Shelton Guitars. http://www.sheltonsguitars.com/2010/6-1-10/alembic-spoiler-6-1-10.html I cannot get over how I played all these years with substandard equipment. This bass has put me over a type a threshold only an owner can explain. Or maybe not. It needs a little work but I like doing It. Not sure what the added electronics are. A little different from other Spoilers I've seen. Ive got the knob on order and am going to do some fret filing this set off. Peace!!

Welcome, Kirk. I bet you have PU selector, probably two 3 position switches for Lows and Highs (boost, flat, cut), Master Volume and Low-Pass Filter with added Q switch. This is the secret to Alembic's versatility, take some time to learn tips on how to use it at "FAQ and Must Reads". Enjoy! |

Hey Mario, After a little digging..There is the stock volume + Lo pass filter w/ Q switch and a 4 way pick up selector. Plus some infiltrators i.e an on/off filter type which accentuates high ends the more you turn it up with a boost toggle that is tied in to the board. Got the knob on order and may change out the upper hardware to black if I can find it.....peace |
