Creating Hyper Links on Posts Here

I looked in the FAQs but did not find anything, and did a search looking for posts on it, but found nothing. Would someone please list the correct format for posting an embedded link in text here. The section on hyperlinks is about 2/3's of the way down, here. I am quite obtuse and never even noticed the neat stuff listed on the tabs at the bottom of page. That was much easier to do than I thought it would be, plus now when someone does a search on 'hyper,' it will bring up at least one hit and all the help they need on it. Thanks for the examples, Dave. That is usually all I need to start exploring stuff. I could learn to like this stuff. Where is the spell checker tab???
