Here's another clip of my band, Earthship, playing some original jazz-funk-fusion recently. I was 'resting' my Alembic at the time - the bass I'm using here is a Status Kingbass - but hopefully some of you will enjoy it nevertheless!

Nice. I enjoyed that. Good job hanging back and throwing in tasty fills. Thanks!

Nice one, Frank - enjoyed yours, too - you've got that kind of off-the-wall Primus thing going on - very funky!

Hi Karl. What's happened to Harambe?

Hi Graeme,

Well, I now live out here in the west of Ireland and the rest of the Harambe crew are spread all over the place - London, Madrid, Paris - so regular gigging and rehearsing is pretty much out of the question. But we're still active as a band - we signed a publishing deal with a major publisher a few years back, which netted us a couple of licensing deals overseas, so we now get to go out to Europe and Japan once or twice a year to promote our CDs out there and play a few festivals. Then we all go our separate ways again until the following year. In the meantime, I'm still writing and recording new material (we have a new EP out, Reboot - available at all good online stores - here's the Amazon link, for example: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Reboot-EP/dp/B004FXDJ9C/ref=mb_oe_o), and, through the power of the internet, we're still able to record together, despite being hundreds of miles apart - we're currently working on a new album which should see the light of day by the end of this year.

K.
