My SC Signature Deluxe not only sounds sweet, it tastes sweet too thanks to my wife putting it on a birthday cake & surprising me with it at my gig Friday! She bought 40 kazoos & secretly passed them out to the audience & had them play & sing happy birthday to me at the end of our 1st set! I was completely surprised since my birthday is not until next Friday!

Happy Big 50 Rusty, mine was just 5 years ago and now suddenly I feel 5 years younger ! It seems when you are 25 the big five zero is so far away and now it feels like yesterday . Enjoy the accumulated wisdom ! Wolf |

Age 50 is when you really start to appreciate what Alembic is all about. Enjoy and feel young despite what others tell you (but the body does hurt more!). When you had a piece of the Alembic pie, was it in tune, sharp or flat? LOL |

Thanks everyone! I do look at 50 as being a new starting point in my life. Since getting my Alembic in February, I feel like I've been born again musically! I'm practicing every day & loving & appreciating my bass like I never have before! My actual birthday is this Friday, & my youngest son graduates from The University Of Texas that day, so that will be a really nice birthday present! |

With your son's birthday approaching, it is time to set up that Alembic Series Bass account for him!!!!!! What a way to have your legacy carry on. |

Steve, my oldest son is a band director & plays French Horn, & my youngest was Drum Captain all 4 years of high school, but gave up band to pursue film editing in college. Unfortunately, neither have professed a desire to learn the bass. It would be nice to have one of them to pass on my SCSD to! |
