Hi guys,
it is off-topic this forum but I wanted to share this to all JE fans in here. I just received Johns blonde Ovation bass which was sold last year at the Sotheby´s auction and is also shown in the Bass Culture book complete with the paperwork from Sothebys. OK it is no Spyder but this is the first instrument I have now out of Johns belonging and I hope to add a few more in the future.

Hi Brother Ollie,

I really LOVE this model. Is it called "The Adamas" or "Ovation"??
I heard positive comments on these instruments. On the CD of Eric Clapton "From the Cradle" Dave Bronze is playing exclusively this kind of bass.

Paul,
it is an Ovation Elite bass. John had two of them. This particular one and a black one.
I am very proud of this....
BTW Paul, I did get myself an Eden rig from Ed.

Paul,
no I can´t do this in my appartment. I might get an own room for rehearsing soon in town. As for the banks, there are enough and the bad thing is, there are even more wishes on my behalf....

Oliver,

Very nice score indeed! Congratulations! It would be nice to have one of John's Spyders wouldn't it? Since you have no place to plug in your fine collection of basses, perhaps you should look into buying John's house next? If I recall correctly, Quarwood had plenty of room for a nice instrument collection...

Stoney, many thanks!
John Paul, maybe I should ask Paul TBO for stocking support? :-)
