I just received Johns blonde Ovation bass which was sold last year at the Sotheby´s auction and is also shown in the Bass Culture book complete with the paperwork from Sothebys. OK it is no Spyder but this is the first instrument I have now out of Johns belonging and I hope to add a few more in the future. Is it called "The Adamas" or "Ovation"?? I heard positive comments on these instruments. On the CD of Eric Clapton "From the Cradle" Dave Bronze is playing exclusively this kind of bass.
