I was just in the middle of a response to that thread and it disappeared whilst I was editing my messages so I will put it here.
If you recall the thread you will get my drift.

Good evening.
Do not attempt to adjust your thread, there is nothing wrong.
I have taken control as to bring you this special show.
I will return it to you as soon as you are grooving.

Welcome to station Alembic, better known as We-Funk,
Or deeper still, the Mothership Connection.
Home of the extraterrestrial Alembic brothers,
Dealers of funky music.
P.Funk, uncut funk, The Bomb.

Coming to you directly from the Mothership
Top of the Chocolate Milky Way, 500,000 kilowatts of P.Funk-power.
So kick back, dig, while we do it to you in your eardrums.
And me? I'm known as Jazzyvee, alias the Long-Haired Sucker.

L'embic, y'all.
Now this is what I want you all to do:
If you got faults, defects or shortcomings,
You know, like string-itis, Thread-matism or migraines,
Whatever part of your body it is,
I want you to lay it on your radio, let the vibes flow through.
Funk not only moves, it can re-move, dig?
The desired effect is what you get
When you improve your Interplanetary Funksmanship.
Sir Jazzy vee! Chocolate coated, freaky and and habit forming.
Doin' it to you in Low-B,
So groovy that I hit C.
Once upon a time called Now!
Somebody say, "Is there funk after death?"
I say, "Seven String?"
Yeah, P.Funk!

Yeah, I dig!
Let me strap my Alembic on.
That's the law around here, you got to wear your alembics.
So you can feel cool.
Gangster lean.
Y'all should dig my quilt Maple top.
Well, allright. Hey I was diggin' on y'alls Alembics for awhile.
Sounds like it got a three on it though, to me.
Then I was down south and I heard some bass with some main ingredients
Like ma-hog-a-ny , Spalt Maple, Coco-Bolo.
It was cool,
But can you imagine mahogany-in' your funk? Ho!
WEFUNK, we funk.

Peace
Jazzyvee

Wow, Mario! That's a sweet show! I'd love to have that opportunity, some day. My drummer, Ryan and I were fortunate enough to meet Bootsy, who is definitely a big hero to me, about 5 years ago in Cincinnati during a festival we played there. P-Funk would be ridiculous! Please let me know what that's like, would ya? Post some pictures and video of your band playing please!

Peace;)

Frank
