Just picked one of these up yesterday. Gotta admit the overdrive from this is pretty nice.

Anyone else have one? Anyone ever play around with switching tubes?

I have one, Never changed the tube. Love the tone, if you turn the vol all the way up and turn the gain to 20% it makes a great clean boost

As we know, EBS is good stuff. My HD350 is great - the Drive control in that is good (not quite what you are talking about, I know). Just adding my bit. Glynn

yup, I'd really like to check out one of there amps, haven't run across one yet.

I have there Micro bass pre amp, and an Octa bass. both are very important to my sound. funny story with the octive pedal,

i got it used off ebay and when i whent to use it I found out the switch broke on! ebay refunded the cost of the pedal, and the seller didn't want it back, so after looking at it for a while i sent EBS and email asking what to do with it, with 24 hours i had a reply asking to take it apart and send them a photo of the switch with my mailing address, 2 weeks latter a new switch arived free of charge! after a lil work with a buddy of mine and walla! like new pedal for free! Ebs like Alembic is a great company out there for Musicains, run by great people! any one have the Stanlye Clarke sig. wah? i want to know what you think

Has anyone used their envelope filter?

My Q-Tron is not working anymore and I am looking for a replacement.

The EBS envelope filter is very nice sounding - but possibly a little too polite if you like the Q-tron.

The Q-tron and Mutron (rerelease) are quite similar and both are better for strait out funk applications than the EBS. I'd use the EBS in more arty or jazzy applications.

Glocke. I replaced my Q-tron with an EBS BassiQ a year or so ago and although it took a while fiddling with the settings to get a good 'wacka-wacka tone I'm more than happy with it for what I need (which isn't much). I have to say i've always been impressed with the EBS range and have their unichorus and multidrive pedals (aswell as some NEO cabs) but as Dave says, the effects are more subtle than the E-H pedals.
