A good time to set goals for achievements for the year and to distill our energy to action forward like a laser beam!

A rogue like me can't help but excel at adding further puns to this ode to spring. I look out my window and see a darling skylark! It represents the spectrum of life reborn each spring.

Yes David, it's a standard point of view around here, if perhaps only a small standard, that the wit here sometimes takes off on a bit of a vector.

I'm flying thru these events at a dizzying pace:

Birthday last Saturday: 57. How the hell did I get this old?

Hell Freezes Over: I bought a digital camera. Finally. Fujifilm X10, one of Fuji's new X-Series cameras, quite the embodiment of the Billy Joel maixm, 'I like things that look old and work new'. Crazy about this thing. Posted photos of the BigRedBass and its evil younger brother.

And Spring has surely sprung: Cut the grass for the first time this season yesterday, in the middle of a pollen storm. My head is going to explode if my sinuses don't first push both eyeballs out of their sockets to relieve the pressure.

I hope this post has a little elan, I'd hate to be a spoiler, but this series of events has led to a renewal of my essence. Gotta go, I think I hear my little darling inbound from the wood shed.

"The Precision of these puns has me Jazzed. "

Being that this is an Alembic forum, I would say that statement, while not completely derailing the train, was a slight Fender bender! :-)

Really, let's keep some balance, k?

I don't want to have to pistol grip anyone, or triple omega them.

Although I did hear that there are a series of scorpions that become active on the vernal equinox.

And while we're at it, let's remember Valentino 2.
