Thanks. The bass went directly into the board, in stereo. The filters were wide open and the neck pickup was rolled down about 25%. The bass tended to sound a bit like it had a hint of chorus on it. I think the stereo nature of Series instruments give the bass a wider space to sit in the mix (depending upon how wide you pan each channel you can sit the bass line high or low [up or down] in the mix-- independent of the relative volume on the faders). I love Alembic Series instruments. |
