I'm going to see CS&N tomorrow night at Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville Wa. It should be a great show.... The weather looks like it's going to be nice and it's a great venue.

I haven't seen these guys together since the old days soooo here's to a good show!

I'm taking a few days off afterward to do some recording. I'll give you a run down next week.

Wow, that seems like a really nice venue to see them. None of the wineries down here in the Portland area are doing concerts anymore, or so it appears. However, Todd Rundgren is in Portland tomorrow night at the Aladdin Theatre. That should be a cool show. He's got his old sidekick Kasim Sultan on bass.

CSN ...aaahlalaa ....there ARE moments I wish I could live in the US. Never saw them, have got all the CD's (more or less) and have seen some video's. I still enjoy them. As you all know "Teach your children" is a kind of I Chin for me.

Is Stills with them? I've bought the latest (great!) C&N album and I thought they would be touring as a duo to support that album. But this is even cooler! I hope I once get the chance to experience them live... I'm jealous!

Hollis: How were they? I missed them the last two years (I had tickets last year and screwed up the date!). I saw Crosby in a freebie outdoor thing at Rutgers in Piscataway in '81 (Busch Campus lawn!). Haven't seen them with or without Young, and I've missed all his solo stuff as well (This last tour that they had on Free-Per-View on DSS was atrocious...I skipped the Radio City show for that reason). My bad. I've been into those guys for close to thirty years and have never seen them.

Hi folks,
The show was very interesting, it had many ups and downs. First off, the sound was a little weak… What I mean to say is; They started off with Carry On, they were playing their asses off but it sounded like we were only getting the stage mix, sooooo, the sound was muddy. That was too bad, because they were really cooking right out of the shoot. The sound problem lasted about three songs in, then it sounded as if someone turned on a switch, and it was clean and very good.

Steven Stills was indeed there, and what can you say? The man is a wonderful guitarist. His vocals on the old stuff were a little weak, but his new stuff was obviously written with his vocal limits in mind, and he sang it very well.

David Crosby, and Graham Nash were flawless…. as always, God! Those guys can sing beautifully.

It was so great to see them together, sans Neil Young but hey…. still, a very nice show.

The rest of the band cooked from start to finish.

I will go to see them again if they feel so inclined….

Take care,

Cool! Dinosaur Rock is alive and well, LOL! Seriously, I doubt much of anything new that's on the radio today will hold up over the years under repeated listening like the "oldies but goodies" like CSN(&Y)do. Hell, I don't wanna listen to most of what I hear on radio now, nevermind later on, LOL!
