Bradley, thanks for posting that - I've seen it once before - I love the way he alternates solo phrases with "bass lines" at the beginning, then starts playing a nice long line over the chord change and he's off! |

Oh my. That makes ME want to practice. HA! Thanks for the kind words. That was so so long ago ... and I miss Carlos Vega very much. Another rare appearance by "82 2252" before it became a fretless. Graphite neck = compressed sound = easy to play hard and make it clank a bit. That worked OK in this setting... Jimmy J |

Jimmy, This video is seemingly singular in all the Internet. There is a bass solo, and the camera remains on the bass player! We even get to really see the actual bass you're playing. It's a truly amazing thing . And no false modesty required; it was really great. Bradley |

Effing great...funky as they come and a great way to practice those huge neck jumps. Think I will pipe the audio downstairs to my hi fi and TRY(empahasis on the word 'try')to follow jimmy but i know it will end in disaster!!! Well you have to have a go don't you!! |
