Bradley, thanks for posting that - I've seen it once before - I love the way he alternates solo phrases with "bass lines" at the beginning, then starts playing a nice long line over the chord change and he's off!

Oh my. That makes ME want to practice. HA! Thanks for the kind words. That was so so long ago ... and I miss Carlos Vega very much.

Another rare appearance by "82 2252" before it became a fretless. Graphite neck = compressed sound = easy to play hard and make it clank a bit. That worked OK in this setting...

Jimmy,

This video is seemingly singular in all the Internet.

There is a bass solo, and the camera remains on the bass player! We even get to really see the actual bass you're playing.

It's a truly amazing thing :-) . And no false modesty required; it was really great.

Effing great...funky as they come and a great way to practice those huge neck jumps. Think I will pipe the audio downstairs to my hi fi and TRY(empahasis on the word 'try')to follow jimmy but i know it will end in disaster!!!
