Holy Crap! that's a lotta stuff to see!...two that popped out for me was DEVO if you've never seen them, I saw them last year here in Vancouver and they were AMAZING; way better than I could have expected...Russian Circles are not to be missed-instrumental heavy music at it's very best, amazing what three guys can produce!...Japandroids are from here so support them but find a way to ban Nickleback from your country, you'll be glad you did...Tony

Thanks for the heads up re Devo - I followed them from the first singles but lost interest at Whip It. Never heard of Russian Circles - I'll track them down. I hear you re Nickleback - although I have to give them a grudging respect.

I have a funny story regarding Nickleback...My first band, Civic Pride played a local place called the Niagara; the booker was a friend of mine...he he told me that he hated my band but there was a band that he hated SOOO much that they would NEVER play there again...that band was Nickleback, my band got to play there again...nickleback; so bad that local bars banned them!

True story, and it still makes me laugh...Tony
