Does anyone know of a shop (like Bass Central, basically) that would have a few Alembics in the NY-Philadelphia area? I would love to spend a little time on an MK5 before buying one. Thanks in advance! |

I ust realized that I put NE as in 'North East', but it is likely to be seen as Nebraska. Sorry! |

I can't answer your question directly, but I recommend searching out some folks here in the club that may live close by. They would probably be happy to let you sample their wares! |

Guitars or Basses? In CT we have Brian's Guitars, and they always have 2 or 3 Alembics in stock. No basses or accessories though, which is a bummer. |

Basses, thanks. I am thinking of going for one of the Balance K MK 5's. |

Looks like the closest dealer to you is Washington Music in Maryland. There are a number of club members in the area and they had a get together a few years back. I bet someone in that group has a Balance K 5 stringer and might be willing to meet you someplace and let you check out their bass. |
