How the hell did i end up with a spinners album? Did I actually buy hall and and oats live? so i unpack the turntable- i estimated its been a good 13 years in the box- so i am all excited about putting a disc on? low and behold there is no belt! :-( OK- I NEED SOME HELP FROM YOU TECHIES! i could buy a belt on ebay- at this point i have no clue how to remove the table. i really dont see any pin holding it on and ive pulled on it and i wont give. the motor is working. Don't know if you have it so I've sent you a copy. I could not find a free service manual. Looking at the spec's on the cartridge I doubt it will work without a preamp. I don't know the quality of the rest of your system but unless its of true audiophile quality (we're talking the price of a nice new Alembic here) I've been totally satisfied with $50 preamp I got from phonopreamps.com.
